Mexico SCT (Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes) Maps
Good maps of Mexico’s back roads are hard to find. I recently purchased International Travel Maps 1:1,000,000 scale Mexico Travel Atlas and prior to this I was navigating with the ITM 1:1,300,000 scale Mexico North map. Both of these options have pretty good detail but at the rate Mexico is paving their roads, are also a bit outdated. While searching for other options I came across the website for Mexico’s Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes and within that site a list of downloadable PDF copies of all the SCT maps by state. As far as I can tell, these are the most detailed maps of Mexico that are publicly available.
Not trusting that these maps will be available to the public forever, I saved copies and have made them available for download below. These maps do not have georeference data, so they do not work with a GPS, but they are zoomable and even on my iPod Touch display with full detail and clarity.
These are the most recent copies as of November 2013. Be patient, these are large files and take a bit of time to load.

Good on you. Just checked the sour e link, and they are being ‘reorganized’.
I hope they’re being updated, but if not it’s a good thing I saved all of them.
